Community in Schools
With CISP's help we are able to provide a reading mentor program to work with our at risk students. Each child has a one on one mentor who not only helps students with their reading progress, but gives each child another strong, caring adult to make a personal connection with.
Children’s Home Society
A partner with the use of our Readiness to Learn and PIRC people. Both of these social workers help with our at risk families and support for our Early Childhood Program. Children's Home Society also supports our "Little Buddies" class in our After Ours program.
Hands On Art
Peninsula Hands On Art was founded in 2003 and provides over 10,000 art projects to 2,700 students each year in the Peninsula School District. The organization is implemented and supported by the volunteer hours of hundreds of parents, teachers and artists who serve in a wide variety of ways to help bring a greater understanding of visual art and art history to children ages K-5th grade.
Together we are able to provide Before School Care as well as a "Get Up and Move" class as part of our After Ours Program.
