School News
Peninsula School District invites everyone in the community to join us in our reading challenge. Our goal is to collectively read 1 million minutes by the last day of school, June 21, 2023.
Peninsula Light Company and PSD have collaborated to launch a ‘minutes read’ collection webpage as part of Peninsula Reads. When you’ve completed your reading activity, simply sign in and record how many minutes you read! Use this tool to log your reading minutes.
You can support our youngest learners by reading in our elementary schools!
Guest readers are invited to share their favorite book or read a book provided to them as part of Peninsula Reads, our community-wide effort to promote literacy development in young children.
Readers are needed now through Friday, Dec. 16, 2022. Sign up here.

As the winter storm season is upon us, here is a reminder of Peninsula School District's procedures and expectations during inclement weather and school closures.
Help us meet our 1 million minutes community reading goal
We want to give a big THANK YOU to all the community members who celebrated American Education Week with PSD at our schools.
Many of you joined Artondale, Pioneer, Swift Water, and Evergreen elementary school students and educators to learn about day-to-day activities, and see our newly constructed buildings. The students enjoyed showing off their classrooms, and visitors enjoyed exploring flex spaces, seeing student art, and witnessing learning in action.
