No School Nov. 22 through Nov. 24 for Thanksgiving

In observance of Thanksgiving, a reminder there is no school from Wednesday, Nov. 22 through Friday, Nov. 24. 

District buildings will be closed to the public on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. School resumes for students on Monday, Nov. 27. 

Special Delivery: School supplies delivered to PSD schools

School supplies for PSD students are being delivered this week to our schools, marking a significant stride towards fostering inclusive and equitable learning environments. 

Each student will receive a curated kit of supplies, tailored to their grade level's needs. 📝 ✏️ 🖍️

Join PSD's Special Education Parent Advisory Committee for the 2023-2024 school year!

PSD is looking for volunteers to join our Special Education Parent Advisory Committee to help provide an inclusive learning space and support for all of PSD's students. 

The focus of SEPAC is; 

•To develop a Special Education Family Education series, scheduled throughout the school year; 
•To develop opportunities for relationship building between Special Education families, PSD staff, and community partners; and
•To promote inclusion through equal opportunities and access to quality education for ALL students, regardless of their abilities, backgrounds, or differences.

PSD to provide school supplies for the 2023-2024 school year

As outlined in our five year strategic plan, the Peninsula School District has committed to creating equitable and inclusive learning environments for every child in our schools. To help us reach this goal, PSD will provide all basic educational school supplies to our K-12 students at no cost to families during the 2023-2024 school year.
