Dear Artondale Families,

Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! I am excited to begin another incredible year of learning, growth, and connection at Artondale Elementary. Whether you are returning to our Otter community or joining us for the first time, we are so glad you are here. The start of a new school year brings renewed energy, fresh opportunities, and endless possibilities for every child.

This year, our school-wide theme is "You Can Be Anything." We believe every child has unique strengths, talents, and dreams, and our goal is to help each student discover their potential while building the confidence to pursue it. Together, we will encourage students to be curious learners, creative thinkers, compassionate friends, resilient problem-solvers, and leaders who make a positive difference in the world. We want every child to know that with perseverance, kindness, and a supportive community, they truly can be anything they aspire to be.

Our vision, "Every child, every day will explore, create, and be an empathetic global citizen," continues to guide everything we do. We are committed to creating meaningful learning experiences that inspire curiosity, encourage creativity, and develop empathy while preparing students for an ever-changing world.

Our mission, "At Artondale Elementary, we provide an inclusive culture where all children have opportunities to be empowered to reach their highest potential by remaining curious, innovative, and following their dreams," reminds us that every student deserves to feel valued, challenged, and supported. We strive to provide a safe, inclusive environment where all learners can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Our dedicated staff is committed to providing high-quality instruction, building strong relationships with students, and creating classrooms where every child feels a true sense of belonging. We know that learning is most successful when schools and families work together, and we value the partnership we share with you. Your encouragement, involvement, and support make an incredible difference in your child's educational journey.

Throughout the year, you can expect open communication, engaging learning experiences, and opportunities to celebrate the many accomplishments of our students. We encourage you to stay connected through our school website, newsletters, social media, and family events. Together, we will create meaningful experiences that help every child grow with confidence and discover all they are capable of achieving.

As we begin this exciting new year, I invite each of us—students, staff, and families—to embrace our theme: You Can Be Anything. Together, we can inspire one another, support one another, and accomplish amazing things as one Otter community.

Thank you for entrusting us with your children each day. I look forward to partnering with you throughout the 2026–2027 school year and celebrating the many successes that lie ahead.

With gratitude and excitement,

Jessica Rosendahl
